Olemasolev soft on testitud ja jookseb nii MS Windows, FreeBSD(unix), Linux keskkondades. Ilmselt ka kõigis teistes java't toetavates keskkondades. Server vajab käivitumiseks java runtime jre 1.1.* või jdk 1.1.* . 
Parimate tulemuste saavutamiseks on soovitatav jre 1.1.6 või parem.

Please note that all software will delivered as java bytecode classes and you need a platform specific java runtime jre or jdk (java developer kit 1.1.*) for server application. For optimal performace please use jre 1.1.6 or better.

Current versions of server are tested and running well on :
FreeBSD, Linux and MS Windows but possibly it will run on all other platfors  supporting java (unix, mac etc).
The ChatOk and OKsever are 100% java compatible.
ChatOk applet is jdk 1.0.2 compilant(can be used with all java enabled browsers)
OKserver application is jdk 1.1 compilant.
